Maxim Gives Back to Zamboanga Families During Ramadan
In the spirit of giving this Ramadan, Maxim Rides & Food Delivery launched a community support initiative in Zamboanga City, providing free iftar meals and school supplies to help families in need.
In partnership with the local barangay, the Maxim team distributed 250 free iftar meals near the main campus of Universidad de Zamboanga. Prepared with the help of promoters and driver-partners, each meal pack included chicken, rice, noodles, and bottled water, and was given to students, teachers, traffic enforcers, motorists, and other community members preparing to break their fast.
As part of the same initiative, Maxim also distributed 500 school supply sets at Tumaga Elementary School. Each set contained a notebook, ballpen, and ruler, helping parents reduce the cost of educational materials. The distribution was coordinated with the school’s Office-in-Charge and teachers to ensure an organized and smooth process.
“Ramadan is a time for reflection, compassion, and giving back to the community,” said Ahiddan Maldisa, Head of Maxim Zamboanga. “Through these efforts, we are honored to support families and residents, providing meals for those observing the fast and school supplies for children who need them most.”
Through initiatives like this, Maxim continues to strengthen its engagement with Zamboanga City communities, reinforcing its commitment to compassion, education, and meaningful community partnerships.
