Maxim Bring Mother’s Day Support to SOS Children’s Village Iloilo

Maxim Rides & Food Delivery extended its Mother’s Day initiative to SOS Children’s Village Iloilo on May 7, 2026, providing hygiene and toiletry kits to children.

SOS Children’s Village Iloilo is a private, non-political, non-denominational organization that provides long-term, family-based care and education to children in need. At SOS Children’s Villages, children who have lost parental care are supported in a family-like environment, living in a home with an SOS mother, their siblings, and other children. They receive holistic care until they are ready to live independently.

An SOS mother lives with the children and attends to each child’s needs while respecting their culture, family background, and personal story. Recognizing their emotional need for a loving and caring mother, she remains present at all times to provide consistent care and support.

A total of 85 children received essential items that support their daily hygiene and well-being. A team composed of two staff members and five driver-partners facilitated the delivery of the donations.

Francis Ann Savare, Philanthropy and Partnership Officer of SOS Children’s Village Iloilo, also gave the staff and driver-partners a background on the foundation and its mission of providing family-based care for children. She also expressed her appreciation, saying: “On behalf of the SOS Children’s Village Iloilo community, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to Maxim Iloilo for the partnership. We hope that this is not the last time we will meet and work together in the service of the vulnerable Filipino children and youth. Madamo guid nga salamat for giving hope a chance. Ride safe to all your hardworking drivers and employees!”

A beneficiary, Mama Belle, an SOS Mother, shared her appreciation, saying: “We are grateful to Maxim Iloilo for choosing to support SOS Children’s Village Iloilo, especially on Mother’s Day week. We are very pleased to be remembered and honored by hardworking drivers and workers who dedicate their work to the people.”

The initiative reflects Maxim’s continued commitment to supporting communities and celebrating the role of mothers.
