Maxim ride-hailing & delivery service supports football development in Bloemfontein and provides players with uniform
As part of its social initiative and commitment to promoting sports within the local community, the Maxim ride-hailing & delivery service supported the Teka Famba FC football team by providing the players with new uniform. The team plays in the local ACOM (Amalgamated Companies of Mangaung) League, competing against representatives of the local community. The players have already tested their new apparel in action, winning 4-2 against FC National, a team of employees from Bloemfontein’s National District Hospital.
“At Maxim, we believe in supporting our community’s growth. Naturally, as a ride-hailing company, our primary focus is on improving people’s mobility and safety. But we also understand how important it is for businesses to contribute to development of the society as a whole. As a representative of Maxim, I can honestly say we believe in changes and are actively working to implement them,” said Lesoli Lemphane, head of the Maxim unit in Bloemfontein.
The Teka Famba football
team expressed its gratitude to Maxim for its support:
“Maxim has become our
first partner in a long time. The team was established in 2022.
We believe that a sporty and active lifestyle prolongs life, so
my friends and I chose football. It is clear that Maxim cares
about the local community. We thank the service for the cool,
vibrant uniforms,” commented Siphiwe Lamunu, the Chairman of the
team.
Maxim continues to implement social initiatives aimed at supporting the local community by conducting road safety trainings and also supporting proactive young people.
The company believes that sport has an amazing power to bring people together, build team spirit, and promote healthy lifestyle.
